Lisa

Lisa Mertens is a certified corporate governance professional specializing in corporate governance matters for both public and private companies.

Lisa currently works with a wide variety of clients focusing on general corporate matters including corporate formations, financings, and stock option / stock issuances, as well as public company board of directors governance matters.

Lisa began her career at mid-size law firms in San Francisco working on corporate matters. Immediately prior to joining Thompson Legal Advisory Services Lisa worked for Gap Inc. for many years where she focused on corporate governance matters for the public company, its subsidiaries and corporate foundation.

Lisa received her B.S. in Finance from the University of San Francisco and her Certified Corporate Governance Professional designation in 2021.

She enjoys hiking, travel, and spending time with her family and has a love/hate relationship with her stationary exercise bike.
